Default Mounting Amp behind seats

I have a couple of amps for my car, specifically the alpine MRP-500 and the MRF-300. I was looking for some good placed to mount them and I thought of maybe putting them behind the seats.

I also realized I could mount one under my seat. It doesn't seem to slide under the passenger side because of the shape of the frame.

Do you guys think theres enough breathing room in these two spots?

I personally don't want to take up anymore room in my boot, I already have my sub in there and would prefer to keep some space in there.

I also tried searching for a DIY to remove all the panels that I need to safely, the search function on these forums is useless.

Can anyone pass on a link to a DIY for pretty much any install that would show me firewall access points, how to remove the side foot panels, access points to the trunk area.

I do see the one in the How to stickie but it doesn't show the rear access points and safe removal of the panels / potentially any screws that I need to remove

I have a 4 channel amp behind my driver seat with now problems. However, I plan on adding a sub & 2nd amp. I am going to relocate the current amp and add the 2nd amp in the spare tire area. That way it's stealth and that spare is good for nothing anyways (that's what AAA is for). As for write ups do a search next time, here ya go

I prefer mounting at the spare tire location, since the s2000 already have limited cabin space...

Thanks for the tips. I think I might just end up doing one behind the drivers seat and one under it. I was planning on doing one under each seat but the transmission tunnel gets in the way under the passenger seat.

I keep my spare in there for the most part in the unlikely event that I need it so that isn't really an option.

Dude you have plenty of room behind the seats if you are not super tall, since I'm short at 5'8" I could even fit one of the flat subs behind the drivers seat.

I've never left my car parked top down.

Plenty of room if you remove the spare tire....I've squeezed 2 big ass amps, Odyssey 925 battery, Capacitor and distribution block back in there. The wires look a little messy, but once the trim panels are back in everything looks 100% OEM
