Default my first mod for the new S

Today I changed out the factory head unit with a new Alpine cde-124sxm. I went with this model Alpine because it has everything included for XM radio reception. I did the install with my son but did not make up the wire harness, I had a stereo shop do that. Cost for the wire harness was $25 including the wire harness kit. As a lot of you guys know a radio install in the S2000 is about the most easy install to do, the job took about an hour and most of that time was used on the XM antenna location. Once I figured out where best to locate it I moved along with the rest of the job easy. The new Alpine gets great radio reception as well as XM reception. This was a great first mod and is a night and day improvement over the factory radio. Next job will be installing the Boston Pro components in the doors

Nice install Puddy. When you do the speakers if the components have seperated tweeters try setting them up on the dash and give a listen. I installed my Alpine components up there and they sound amazing. Cannot even tell they are up there mounted them in the recess by the defroster vents.

Is the spray on stuff any good? and do you do the back of the door card or just the metal door frame?

I was thinking 2005 or newer door panels because the tweet covers blend in with the interior nice. Before I go for the panels I will try your setup on the dash. If you can please post a pic or 2 of your tweeter setup thanks
