Same guy that made the trunk panel rack that you were asking about in my other thread

This one will fit your needs though, perhaps even better: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/232978-amp-rack/

You can go active with the PDX5 amp. No need to change anything equipment-wise.

You already have, assuming you've connected two sets of RCAs from the HU to the (one for the front speakers and one for the sub).

To go fully active, you'd need to use the existing RCA run for the woofers, and then add another for the tweeters. You'd then need to do an additional run of speaker wire from the amp to the tweeters (using the existing run for the woofers.)

Looks like a great setup - really like the USB/RCA connectors

This is good to know -- Right now I've turned off network mode by changing switch on the top of the unit to "STD". I do currently have two sets of RCA's connected for Speakers/Sub, however I'm under the impression that I would need to bypass the crossover networks in my doors to run active, correct?

I'd need to run some new wire directly from Ch.3/4 on my amp to my tweeters, and leave Ch.1/2 for my woofers, right?

Thanks for the help!

Correct. When you go active, the head unit will then control the crossover points. (double, and triple check that everything is wired correctly or bad things will happen) (You will also need to run one more RCA pair)

Thanks. Should there be any concern about running 104 watts to each tweeter?

As long as everything's wired correctly, shouldn't really be a problem, as they won't actually see that much power. Run the auto tune / EQ / TA when you're set up. (The Polks are what I just took out)

You can also adjust the gains on the amp for the tweeters and woofers, so you'd typically have the tweeter gain lower than the woofers, so you're quite safe in that regard.

I think I'm going to stick with a passive setup guys -- I'm not all that confident that I could improve upon the already tuned crossover for my speakers + AutoEQ.

Feel free to convince me otherwise, however
