I understand what energetic is going through because mine is taking a little while too. He did say to wait two weeks on the 17th, so have some patience.

I'll hopefully have mine done this week or the next, so you can see pictures of the AVIC-D1.

I would imagine you could get a little hand held unit, and get it molded into the A-pillar.

Just be patient guys. I have fitted the navigator in place but I havent got the time to take pictures. I will charge my batteries for the camera and get some pics as well. I will have to remove everything again (console) in order to saw you some photos from the beginning with the mods that I had to make inorder to fit in place. Believe me you will love it! At least I do!

If you guys want pictures so bad, you can watch the buildup of my nav system here: http://poindexter.smugmug.com/gallery/901145 - but this is for a M3.

@ Poindexter These are nice pictures.

Anyway am sorry for the delay but I've been so busy these last two weeks. During the weekend I will take the pictures and I will also right a "How to..." topic and post here the relative link as well.

Thanks

They're nothing to get excited about as they only show the buildup of the bezel. Hopefully next week I'll get it sanded down properly and painted, so we can have some real pictures to or
