I understand what energetic is going through because mine is taking a little while too. He did say to wait two weeks on the 17th, so have some patience.

I'll hopefully have mine done this week or the next, so you can see pictures of the AVIC-D1.

 

I would imagine you could get a little hand held unit, and get it molded into the A-pillar.

Just be patient guys. I have fitted the navigator in place but I havent got the time to take pictures. I will charge my batteries for the camera and get some pics as well. I will have to remove everything again (console) in order to saw you some photos from the beginning with the mods that I had to make inorder to fit in place. Believe me you will love it! At least I do!
