If you wait for two weeks I will saw you my installation of my Navigation system. I have manage to fit it but not in the dash and it looks just like it came from the factory built in the S.

Just be patient because I want to write up the whole story of the installation together with instructions, so that anyone else can do it if they wish so.
Eager to see this. If you do a write up, please put a link in here so we know that you've done it.

I'm eager to see that too - I just can't fathom how you can put a navigation screen into a S without it being in the dash or hindering space

And wouldn't it be a Greek/Euro Navigation unit? With BMW's you can physically plug ' play the Euro equipment in the car but the car's ECU won't accept European software and the Euro Nav unit won't accept US Nav discs. I would assume there will be complications between our countries' software - even with an aftermarket unit. I'm 99% sure the Pioneer units are built for each country - Canada and the US will work, but that's it.

Pioneer and Alpine are excellent Nav choices. Any screen can be custom fabricated to look "custom" fit into your dash.

Here is my .02 cents worth
