Default Navigation System Question

Im in the market for a new navigation system and was curious as to a few things. First do any of these systems come equipped with any kind of transponder technology - to locate car if stolen or any other anti-theft features. Second are there any systems that arent s2000 friendly or compatible beside the flip screen systems

i posted this before so:

i use a pda (ipaq5550) with mapopolis software and a ClipOn gps reciever for street navigation. it works ok; additional benefits are that i can use it in another car and or on the cycle. i use the voice prompts, dont even try for the screen, just a distraction.

if on the pda i can put a microsoft outlook contact into the map program while i am still in the house. taking the pda with me insures i have every phone number and contact i ever wanted with me or get onto the internet to find more.

DEI's Viper alarm has a GPS locator as an option. Aside from like LoJack, it's the only solution of that type that I know of.

Alpine Nav when it first came out offered a mobile mayday feature that did this. They disabled the feature in future software/hardware revisions (not sure why) The Nav box still has the interface for it. The JDM Alpine nav boxes use this feature so maybe they will bring it back for us
