Need an affordable alarm
I just got done today dropping my car off at the Honda dealership. Some very nice person decided to cut 2 huge holes in my soft top to try to get out my seats last night. What a wondeful suprise to come out to this morning when heading off to work
I did have seat locks and that must of pissed them off horribly, as nothing else was touched except the center console looking for the key. What a horrible experience, hence my post.
I am looking for a basic alarm that does not cost an arm and a leg and possibly even easy enough to hook up by myself (please know I know nothing about alarms, and little about what is a good one). I don't need all the bells and whistles, but here are some of the things I am looking for. If possible I want to keep it under 400 dollars installed, or even less if I try it on my own. Any help would be great!
What I need -
-Lock and unlock (to replace my FOB)
-Trunk release (to replace my FOB)
-Shock sensor
-Door sensor
-Hood sensor
-back up batter horn (if affordable, not necessary)
I don't need a proximity or any fancy kind of paging alarm, I just want something that has a siren and will blare out loud if someone is being dishonest.

get a DEI.
viper, clifford, python
all of those will work as long as u purchase the ALARM. they will all come with an aux for the trunk, keyless entry, shock sensors, door trigger senors. the back up battery for the siren is optional you will have to purchase.

the viper 350hv is pretty affordable and capable of all the features.
