No.

I have a few left if anyone wants them. I have no list of which decks work. Drop a line if you need one

Hey Keith,

Is the KCE-865B a complete alpine-to-honda harness? I am not sure if I need to also buy the aftermarket harness in order to do a complete installation. I've searched the net, but come up very short with info on the KCE-865B. From the pics on Lucid's site, it looks as though it may be a complete harness, but I am not sure.

I'm gonna call Lucid tomorrow anyway, just thought I would post here as well.....

Found this:

So it looks like I do not need any additional wiring harnesses other than the KE-865B.

A US version Alpine Deck will not work with KCE-865B. You have to have a deck from overseas (EDM)

Actually, the 7893R and 7894R are the same head units (though I think the colors are different).. The only real difference is that the 7894R is delivered with a separate remote control while the 7893R is prepared for one but comes without.

At least that's how I understand it.

There is no 7893R sold in the US. The 'R' in the model number denotes the euro model with remote capability. This is most definitely a Euro-spec radio. An equivalent US model would be the 7894.

Jetpuke,

I just wanted to say that I considered buying a European Alpine to use w/ that adapter. I even considered buying Alpine's extremely expensive 7990, the only current US model that has the remote input. I tried the SWI-X and hated it. So I used the stock HU for quite a while. Last week I installed the DCI by Modifry (sold through Lucid), and it rules! It's better than the stock setup. Just get one, and use it with your US Alpine HU of choice. Also, you won't have any US vs European radio frequency issues, and you can use the XM feature if you want.

Does anyone know if a USA Alpine CDA-7875 will work with the KCE-865B interface? I am trying to avoid the Cube or Modifry mod if possible.

Thanks,
Chip

Doubtfull. Rumor has it the '05 HUs might be compatible, but who knows.

I'm happy with my Modifry one, has a few more features than stock.
