I am getting the Pioneer Inno XM car dock and this hardwire kit

http://store.xmfanstore.com/myfihrdpwr.html It is a 12v to 5v hardwire kit. I need to splice into a 12v power wire behind my dash hopefully behind the HU to make my life easier. Can anybody help me with a picture of the 12v wire or diagram or something? Im not great with electronics, but im not incompetent either.

the fuse box under the left side dash has three unused accessory
power sources (constant on, ignition switch on, lights on).

this may be a stupid question but if i tap into the fuse box, "hot ignition slot" is the voltage out 12v, becuase for this hardwire kit it needs to be between 11-15v and it converts it to 5v? Thanks!!!
