Default Need help with car audio

Sup... I'm looking to buy a subwoofer, all speakers and an amp. I already have the deck.. I'm a noob when it comes to car audio, so keep this in mind. I would like to keep this under $700 if I could. I was thinking of a 10" sub(that will fit right??) Capable of 1000w ..door speakers and whatnot don't have to be top of the line but just a clear good sound.. and an amp which is around 800-1000 w. I don't know what gauge wires i would need or if i would have to buy a harness .. please help!!

You don't need to go mental on car audio in such a small cabin like an S2K bud

A nice set of amp'd component speakers brands such as DLS, Rainbow etc, and a nice small sealed sub like a JL audio one.

As for amps, simplicity with the wiring without worrying about splitting power leads etc, I'd go for an ample 4 channel amp, about 100 watts RMS for the door speakers, and about 250-300 watts RMS for the sub.

As for wiring a 4 AWG wiring kit would be more than enough, it'd come with all the RCA connectors, Remote lead, earth etc.

Have a look at my signature for a nice tidy setup.

Also have a look at the rest of the setups thread in the stickies as well as the wiring guides up there.
