need help on speakers

Default need help on speakers

what would be best speaker/tweeter setup that replaces the stock ones w/out a ridiculous price. i want to be able to hear my music w/the top down and i dont want to put rear speakers. would the infinity kappa perfects be good? thanks

Yes...amp them and youll be golden. You may want to consider a small sub to fill the low notes.

is there any other choices? and if i do get a good component setup what amp would be good, sorry im a noob and dont know much about this stuff.

There are a bunch of guys ruining infinity components with much success. They are reasonably priced and don't require a ton of power from the amp to sound real good. I just put a set of Kappa's in a friends car with a Phoenix Gold Octane-R - R2.5:2 amp, and he's very happy with the performance, and you will not be out a ton of money.

Yup....the perfects are great with 100wrs amp.....so a nice 2 channel would do you good. However, i would consider a nice 4 channel, so you can add a subwoofer later down the road.
