12v power supply with the ability to push some amps.
An Amp, with wiring to allow you to wire it up correctly to your sound card, and power.
Assuming you want to go with all car audio equipment.
If not, then you need a home audio receiver, more speakers, as you are going to want more than just bass, and probably are going to want a TV and computer with S/PDIF inputs.
Back in the 90's I had some extra mid range speakers, an 8" sub in a box, and a cheap 4 channel Targa (ya, I said it) amp. I wired it up for "surround" out of a Sound Blaster 128 card, and a 10amp/12v power supply. It was ok.
Or you could just go buy this: Onkyo HT-S3400 for $250, and plug it into both. Probably cheaper unless you have a receiver and amp and other speakers already.
I agree with sillyboybmxer, this probably needs to go into the computer section, you will probably get more results that way.
