Vifa M18WN-19 6.5" treated paper cone woofer - 4ohm, 63hz Fs, .66 Qts, 10 Vas, 4mm X-max, 110watts ph, 88db.
$49.75 per woofer from Madisound.

These woofers should offer pretty good bass (ie. better than MOST 6.5" woofers in a car door).
They are almost half the price of the MB Quarts and I would venture to guess they are more than a fair bit better sounding. Vifa, Scan-Speak and Peerless are all the same company now. Some of the very best speaker components in the world are made by these companies. You will find their parts in home speakers retailing for no less than 5 grand and going WAY up from there. The Vifa 6.5" paper drivers are sometimes labelled a poor man's Scanspeak 18W8545, which is widely considered to be among the best mid woofers available, period. Don't believe the MBquart hype.
