hello my fellow s2 owners., anyways i found out that the s2 navigation unit is same everything used as a 01 honda odyssey! yes it fits! well all you need is the s2000 navigation bezel from japan or if someone sells it here then it'll work. but really give me as much feedback you on this topic. just check out ebaymotors and see odysseys for sale and check out the 01 with nav and look at the s2 nav system., exactly the same size., alpine makes both of them...check it and let me know thanks. please reply and check it out., let me know thanks

Yes it can be done, still requires cutting the dash, and it is still cheaper to use aftermarket equipment instead of OEM.

This isn't necessarily new as a member was putting this system in his car.

That's not really news...

The navi systems from the late 90's/ early 00's Acura TL/CL are the same too, although they say "Acura Navigation System" on them instead of Honda.

But... wiring all that up will be a huge pain, especially since I think those cars also used the screen to control the HVAC system. You'd need to find all the factory harnessess and then figure out how to connect them.

You're better off getting an aftermarked screen/navi unit that fits in the dash if you're looking for an in-dash setup.

Not only that, but the JDM bezel fits right hand drive cars. You have to make a custom bezel anyway.

Im doing an oem, I have a full layout of the wiring diagram from Odysee to S2000. All my wires are tagged and found, dash just needs to be molded. I was hoping to be finished by now, but been to busy.

I have a write up somewhere around her and Ill add to it as I go. BTW also doing 2 video inputs to the factory nav screen. Reverse cam for fun and DVD.

heck why bother, just get a GPS phone like the Mio A701...and no, it's not one of those triangulation using the cell phone towers GPS, it's actual satellite. And you'll have a GPS with you all the time, everywhere you go.
