New Honda I-Pod adapter?
I've got a 3G TL and recently purchased an S2000.
With all the talk about the quality of the stock systems I figure no matter what we've all got it would be cool to run the POD.
On my Acura/Honda owners page and in the Acuzine Forum there is alot of talk about the 'coming soon' factory adapter.
I'm wondering if anyone here, I know we have some dealer guys and audio experts on, knows anything about this new item.
I like lots of owners want to be able to hook my I-Pod directly to the H/U ( forget the FM modulator route) and have with me an awesome library of tunes. Heck I'd never need to load a CD again.
Anyone know?

I just installed my ipod adaptor today. I shopped around for a while and found there are quite a few available. I chose the Axxess wire tunes Hoip-01 mostly because I could get it on Ebay for less than $10. It works great. Plugs right into the back of the factory deck where the cd changer would go. all the factory functions still work, but when you try to select the changer, you get the ipod instead. The buttons by the steering wheel even advance tracks on the ipod. YOu can select playlists 1-4, cycle through them by track, and it has a random function. The only bad thing is that the ipod screen is blanked out, the ipod buttons don't work while it's connected, and the song titles dont appear on the factory stereo. Some of the other adaptors are a little better in this regard, but I don't think their $200 price tag is worth it.
It only took about 30 min to install. I'd recommend it.

I've seen the Install instructions for the 06 S2k. The Honda accessory name is "Music Link". The unit plugs into the same aux in plug for the XM radio/cd changer under the rear package tray. You drill a hole in the center compartment for the i-pod's cord.
At last look, none of the "Music-Link" are not available for any model.
I recently put together a PAC AUX-Box input for my 02 Dakota. It doesn't charge the i-pod, and you use the i-pod to controls. The price was right, at 75$ from my local stereo emporium.

Now that the Music Link is out I'm just wondering if anyone has had it installed or ordered one.
A number of folks over on the Acuzine Forum have installed it on TL's and so far the reports are really good.
