Default New on the iPOD Bandwagon!

Well, I have to admit that I was a bit fed up with the popularity of the Apple iPOD. So much so, that I refused to by one. I liked Creative Labs Zen Touch's 24 hour battery life and the higher signal to noise ratio (I know that's some gray area). The thing is, the hard discs that Creative sourced have proven to be sub-par . Now, less than one year later, I am on the iPOD bandwagon. I can look at pictures too. The only things I'm worried about are the DRM WMA problem and no way to get directly to the MENU screen from anywhere in the player.

I just bought one of the "new" color 20G units. I'm looking at ways to load and play songs in the S2000.

Yep, same as me. Right now I have a product from Soundgate that lets me listen to any external audio device (AUX IN). I cannot control the iPOD with the Honda radio though. Some say there is a product out there that will allow for the control of the iPOD.
PIE
Soundgate
Blitzsafe are some popular brands.

After reading about the failure rate of Creative models, I bought an iRiver instead. It is wonderful. I still refuse to buy Apple and have white wires coming out of my ears.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Thinking of an Alpine 9855 with the Alpine iPod module, then an amp (Diamond 6600) and new Diamond speakers with maybe an 8in sub in the tool area. But then again this is a top down driver so why spend the $?
