Default New Kenwood KFC-1687 6.5" 200w Car Speakers!

Hi I've been searching different options for my door speakers and am planning on using New Kenwood KFC-1687 6.5" 200w Car Speakers for the doors...My question is fairly simply but elusive in my search...Do I need a S2000 door harness to install these or will they fit without it? I'm fairly new at this audio thing and would appreciate any information concerning whether or not a novice would be able to install the speakers? I've searched and found some great info on how to get the door panels off, just a little apprehensive about doing it...Any info on this would be greatly appreciated...Thanks, Jody

Just need the wire harness to interface the stock wiring - metra part 72-7800

If you haven't purchased these consider the 1787 little bit bigger and needs my adapter kit, but IMO they sound better.

I got a set of KFC-1677s a while ago and the improvement was incredible. They're not the best speakers by far, but they do their job for a really low price. Very easy to install also, they just drop right in.

1687 adds a midrange driver, worth the extra buck since you're pulling 2 door panels anyway.

It's easy and well worth the $.

In any case go to my website and take use of the door speaker guide. Drop me a line if you have any q's.

Removing a door panel is a 2 minute job........the second time. The first time you're all worried that you might scratch something, or break off a tab, so you're overly cautious. The S2000 door panel is one of the easiest I've ever removed in a Honda/Acura.
