I'm looking to by an 06 S2000 for a great price, the only problem is the car doesn't come with keys. Right now the insurance company owns it and I was wondering what all is involved in getting new keys. I don't know why their are no keys but it is a real website that I have done business with before so I know its not currently stolen, but may have been at one time. I plan on calling a Honda dealer and seeing what they say but figured I would get a more realistic answer from you guys as opposed to a dealer. Also if this isn't the right location for this just let me know where I should go.

 

You'd need to get them from a dealer. Shop around.

 

Pm Enjoy racing on here. They may be able to help. You need the vin and some form of identification that you own the car. Also what year is it? Dealers can cut keys for 04 and up because of the type of key but I am not sure about the AP1 key. Also for 04 and up the dealer has to program the key to the car or it won't start.

 

It's an 06 and I called the dealer and they said they could do it for me and also said the same thing. I need the vin and proof I own it. Ill keep this thread updated on my progress.
