I decided to buy new front speakers a while ago, and originally I was gonna go with new Rockfords...but a few people have changed my mind about them. When I went to an audio shop to listen to a few speakers, I liked the Alpine Type R's, Infinity Kappa Perfects, and I'm really interested in the Alpine Type X's...though I've never heard them in person. I'm not really too concerned with the price cause I've found all of them for pretty cheap.

I've tried everything to get an answer, all but making a new thread. I've searched and searched...and even PMed different people. I should add that I have a Rockford P200.2 amp that I'll be using with the speakers, and I only really listen to rock and metal music. So my question is, which speakers would be best for me?

 

go with the Type-X's. Thats what i have on a 300/4 JL amp. for what you listen to, (same as me) the will deffinetly make you happy. my only experience with RF components is bad as a lot of my friends used to run them, but after having to keep warantying them from blowing they switched brands.
