I bought a EX2540 for $119.95 at Circuit City in Santa Clara, California yesterday (8/3). It was marked as everyday low price.

I just purchased polk speakers EX602a and EX402a at Circuit City on a Polk promotion at the following pricing.

6" at 74.99
4" at 59.99

Total, with a 3-year unconditional warranty including replacement labor at 19.99 per pair was $185.76.

Somebody is getting a bad deal out there.

EX2540 are list at $200. $116 was the sale price. $160 is the normal price. Are you sure it wasn't the sale price?

I installed the Polk 2560 component speakers system. I also installed the 'baffles' to protect the speakers from rain and humidity.

Has anyone notice the bass gets muffled when the window is rolled completely down?

When I roll the window up 1/3, the full range of bass can be heard.

I'm assuming maybe the windows are touching the speakers?.... Any ideas?
