Yup, it looks like it was definitely the remote wire. Even though I couldn't find any nick's on the old wire, I ran a new one & my relay switch on & off without issue now. Unfortunately since I was running the remote wire straight to the amplifier before now the amp is definitely toast. All I get is a quick blip of the power lights on the top & then nothing.
