OEM alarm remote doesn't work
For the last 6+ months the OEM alarm remote sometimes doesn't always work. Probably after letting the car sit for awhile. OK in the morning but not so good on the way home from work for example. This is an 2006 with the original battery. The car starts fine and the battery was good at the last oil change.
However, could the non-working remote be a symptom of a lower battery voltage? Anything else to try? I've swapped remote batteries.
Thanks

go to Autozone or another parts store...you prob just need a new little battery in the remote...you usually can test it right at the energizer display at an Autozone
mine was giving me signs of weakness as sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't (or would take a few tries)...now it's as good as new...figure after a few years that little remote needs a new battery
