Default OK i did it installed sounds on my 06 Laguna

OK well first off this was a 2 day project trying to figure out how to wire the car up not to mention how honda wired up the tweeters on the roll bars.

Equipment and Prices
PAC OEM 2 $20.00 E-bay
Monster Cable XLN 4 CH RCA $79.99 Fry's
Hifonics Zeus Zxi8006 $239.00 Ebay
Monster Cable Amp wire kit 1000W version $99.99 Fry's
MB Quart 10" sub and custom enclosure where the tool kit is at $250 s2ki
Amp Rack $70 S2ki

OK well first off i used the factory head unit because i didn't want to loose my XM radio which i had paid a good chunk from the dealer. I am quite pleased and impressed with the setup it's as clean and clear sounding as other systems i put togehter with aftermarket HU's

i won't go too much into detail since i think there are enough "how to" on this forum. the only thing i do want to point out is the Tweeters on the roll bar. Honda did a weird and if you ask me stupid thing.....

If you fade rear left on the roll bar you will get (drivers side) left side tweeter and (passenger side) left tweeter will be powered. So essentially your not fading left because the driver still hears sound from his left and right.

They crossed the 2 left tweeters and 2 right tweeters to make a 4ohm load. Retarded if you ask me because it does not replicate a fading effect.

If any one is interested in my install PM me i will be more than happy to explain how i did my budget install.

All headrest systems that utilize one speaker on each side of the listeners head do that, at least all factory ones I've ever heard, the passenger (if faded left) would never hear a thing otherwise, same for driver if faded right.

Personally I can't hear the pass side headrest speakers from the drivers seat anyways, unless I stick my head close to the rollhoops.

Looks good, but I think you could have saved $$ on the cable and wiring. $180 seems pretty steep
