Hi there.

I currently have a DCI (apparently an older version) with a Clarion MP3 Head unit. I have just purchased a newer USB-capable Kenwood KDC-MP632U Head Unit. I had incorrectly assumed that my existing DCI unit would work (I could have sworn that I saw a Kenwood setting when I had originally installed it). Well, I was wrong, and my DCI only has settings for Panasonic, Eclipse, Blaupunkt, and Clarion.

I realize that it is a complete long-shot, but does anyone know if my existing DCI would control my Kenwood unit anyway? As in, perhaps the IR protocol of one of the above brands is close enough or identical to my new Kenwood unit?

Oh, btw, in case anyone is interested....the version info on my DCI is

"080604 06"
"ver 6.1.2"
