Yep, I just received my rear speaker panels..( Thanks Jim!) and I am blown away
Others have said that they were not believers untill the installed them... I know how they feel. I'm running them off an amp which previously ran Bass Shakers. I thought that they were pretty good. Untill Lucid sent me these things

WOW, is all I can say, the volume is increased, top down driving is no problem, they sound great, and the balance, for me at 5'11" is perfect.

Lucid, you have my sincerest thanks!
If your thinking that if it is this good why didn't Honda put them in themselves, Don't!, buy them and you will not be dissapointed!

Mike

PS. I forgot one thing..It took me longer to find my tools then it did to install. My cat could have done the install while I watched TV. Even my cat can follow the great directions

I agree with your review. I am not running an amp and have the stock head unit, but those rear speakers make a heck of a difference. Who would have thought....

Is there a website where I can view the rear speaker panels? Do they come with speakers built in, or does it take any speaker within size constraints? Where does the speaker wire run from the back? Along the center? Sides? Does it contain a sub and/or speakers? I'd love to learn more about them!

Mike,

A guy on our board buys the "vented panel" behind the seats, cuts a hole in it, mounts the coaxial of your choice, mails them to you with instructions, and charges you for his time.

You can do it yourself.

Something else you can do for yourself: take a pillow and place it over the driver of one of your home speakers... sounds good, huh?

Shaner,
I wouldn't knock it unless you've tried it. They really do make a difference.

Lucid, I love the rear panels and Polks you sent me. Those, with the Kenwood xr600 front speakers and Alpine 27 watt rms/channel deck just about fills the bill for me.

Your speakers made a huge difference for me.

Well, I can only say DITTO to all the above comments. Jim, I can't tell you how please I am with the setup you supplied me with. I've still got the door speaker to up grade to three ways but let me tell you I'm impressed. Great to see you are a sponser and that things are going well. I really like the website also. Simple and very informative. All the best.

God Bless

Cheers

Jeff
