Thank you Mike, Keith, Jeff, Mark, and Barry. I'm really pushing hard to give everyone the best service, quality and pricing. When the workload gets overwhelming, comments like this make it all worth the effort.

And another thing... You couldn't ask for better customers/friends.

I would like to add my vote of thanks to Jim - I have not purchased anything from Jim, ultimately doing the install myself, but Jim was never anything short of patient, enthusiastic and helpful.

I am sure that the rear speakers are not a high-end audiophile solution. However, this is a noisy roadster we have the privilege to own - the rear speakers do make a big difference to the 'listenability' of a moderately priced system.

Thanks again Lucid!

(Nice web site, by the way )

WOW... $60.00 for cut rear panels!!! They are $8.54 each from my dealer... $17.08 for the pair...

I don't have a calculator powerful enough to calculate the markup to cut two holes...

So, how do I become a self-appointed "audio expert" so I can open an e-commerce site and start raking in the big bucks? Can I take a correspondence course?

shaner, what is your problem?

Lucid's kit includes a harness and (what else) lucid instructions. It's worth it for most of us who want top quality without a lot of f**king around. If you don't have a life and want to spend your time doing it yourself, that's your prerogative. However, you have no right to badmouth anybody's product on a public forum just because it doesn't fit your approach.

Grow up!

Damn! Why does anybody have to give lucid, or anybody else for that matter, shit for providing a solution to a problem? If it's too expensive for your tastes, the shut the hell up and do it yourself. You even tend to get the benefit of the description of what they've done, and validation in the form of (if nothing else) "it works".

And Pinky, after the crap you've been given in the past for your cost of the "Pinky Mod", then to have them quote the cost of the PAC unit at whatever, I can't believe you'd support this kind of criticism of an owner created/supplied mod.

Right on!I thought you'd be the first to defend Lucid's right to benefit from his work Pinky.

I'm about to do my rears. I bought some 4" Sony 2 ways and I'll do the wiring and cutting myself. But if DIY isn't your bag and you want an easy drop in solution Lucid's product is the way to go.

Oh, and I don't see Pinky's Audio Control sponsoring this board!
