Default Opinions on Metra Steering wheel interface

Looking at the Metra ASXWC which I used without a single problem on y Mazda MX5 for almost 13 years without a hitch. Given that it appears to be a generic unit Metra Online, is Modifry a better choice? Buying a new Pioneer DEH-6220 and do not want any problems

Thank you.

it's easier to use Modifry but if you're good with reading instructions and wiring you can use the Metra, I'm using it right now. Only thing that doesn't work fully with my head unit is the mute button which is pretty common.

Appreciate your response, I guess I will go with modifry, I recall several trial and error attempts before I got the Metra to work, but once set, it was all good.
