Other methods of security?
I don't know if this is the forums to post on but it's mostly related to electronics, so I figured to just post in here.
Ok... other than the alarm system that comes with the S2K, what other devices of security does everyone use?
Now this could mean anything from having an extremely intimidating Pitbull sitting in the car to a switch that arms a detonator set to explode at 5 mph.
Thanks in advance for all your replies. If you could tell price, that would be awesome.
Thanks guys,
Andre

I don't know... an Alarm...
What's the point of this question? If someone is going to steal your car its gone dude. 37seconds and a flat bed and its gone. Get a product like Lo-Jack. Alarms a good for keeping the stupid kids away but any good thief will take your car no matter what.

Glock - my preferred mode of home security kinda covers the cars in the garage also. Of course I think that comment fits more in Forced Induction than Electronics.
I install alarms frequently on many species of automobiles. The first thing I always tell a person asking about auto security is the following: "If they want your car or whats inside it - there is nothing you can do!"
The key is being preventive. Make your car (or house, life, whatever) appear as an un-appealing target - they will move on to one that is more appealing. This includes using everthing from security systems to just parking your car in well illuminated and high traffic areas.
If you have an alarm installed in a car keep in mind that the quality of install of the equipment is more important than the equipment itself. If someone asks me who they should go to, to install an alarm, I generally point them to a shop that specializes in auto security and away from ones that specialize in audio installations.
Of course this is my opinion and not that of anyone else here.

You all will probably laugh at me, but, I would get an alarm, and leave the doors UNLOCKED.
This will save your top, thieves will think you are nearby, since the doors are unlocked, and even if they were locked, its still easy to get into. Leaving your doors unlocked pretty much saves your top and glass.
