Default PAC SWI-JACK

I was looking at the JVC Arsenal KD-AHD39 headunit and I wanted to use the steering wheel controls. The adapter crutchfield recommends is the PAC SWI-JACK which they say works fine with the s2000 but I wanted to double check. I found other people on here using other PACK SWI adapters but not this one in specific.

Why don't you check out modifry's DCI, you get a little more options with it.

I have that same unit in my Xterra... and I have the Modifry unit in the S2000. Here are some differences... with the Modifry unit, you have instant button response and lots of functions (holding "mode" while "vol: up or down" does certain stuff), though you cannot fully reprogram each individual button to do whatever you want. Also you can get speed sensitive volume.

With the Pac unit, there is a noticeable delay between pressing a button and the response of the head unit. However, each button is fully programmable to do whatever you want. As far as i'm aware, you cannot program the volume: up/down to have a different function while holding down "mode". You do not get speed sensitive volume.
