Replacing the OE Head Unit
Just about every S I have looked at (for sale) has the standard head unit installed - I am looking for choices for good replacements that retain the functionality of the steering controls (if possible)
So cmon chaps, what you got?

Doing a search would help, and also check the electronics forum. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=26
However, there are several alternatives for controlling most makes of car stereo, Halfords sell them as well as the internet car audio places.
Most people use the Alpine HUs as they make unit that lets you use the dash controls.
I have an Alpine 9887R which is excellent, other popular choices are the iPod controlling IDA-X series.

I opted for the wired one personally.
Also the plug'n play harness makes it a doddle to fit.
Bob @ modifry was a top bloke to deal with. My first DCI didn't work and he replaced it with no fuss.
