Hey Guys whats up,
I've had this problem ever since i did my system, never found it too important, but now i would like to fix this. I've never been able to get that mute button working with the PAC SWI DCI, anybody have had this problem, i did do the relay/resistance fix, but never worked, probably i did it wrong?. has this happened to anybody? is there a diagram with the proper resistances?

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-9300MP?< it has a mute wire (just in case)

Well no.....I did get a Modifry

Sounds like you need to recheck wiring and the mute trip.

 

I got the same problem! No matter how you set it up you end up losing one of the feature button get it mixed up or lose the mute button. I just gave up and returned everything. I had the Alpine 9887 with the PAC-SWI. Just return the PAC-SWI and get the modifry!

 

Thanks guys, yeah im sure modifry solution would work, but i wanted to try fixing the PAC since i don't think i can return a 2 year old unit lol and at the same time don't have the $80+ on hand for a new modifry piece
