Paging imadarkrider . . .
First off I want to thank you again for the great amp. Spme may call me crazy, but I think the new Alpine sounds better than my stolen JL 300/4. For those that are not aware, the PDX series amps has a clip that connects to the speaker wire and the clip connects to the amp. This makes installation easier and imho makes for a better connection. According to the manual, it doesn't matter which way you insert the clip- meaning it doesn't matter if you switch the positive and negative terminals. Is this true? How can this be?
Thanks
Thanks
The connector itself has a positive and negative polarity.... therefore it doesnt matter what direction you plug it in because the center portion of the clip is positive and the outside is negative (or is it vise versa). Just imagine the connector plugged into the amp as if it was never there. I hope this makes sense.
Two thumbs up for the PDX's! I use the 100.24 for my components, driving the woofer/tweeters separately and the 600.1 for the sub. Great sound, and the compact size is perfect for the S2k. Plus they look awesome
