HELP... Subwoofer not working when bridging
I have an Alpine amp and alpine headunit with a 4 channel RCA. 2 channels are used to connect to the left and right off the headunit and into channels 3 and 4 in the amp. I then put the positive wire in channel 3 and negative in channel 4. The wires are then plugged into the positive negative of the subwoofer. I do not get any sound or bump from the subwoofer.
When i plug the wires into just channel 3 (positive and negative wire into one channel) I do feel a little bit of bass but barely anything.
Any idea whats wrong?
John

to many channels dude.
connect your deck sub's RCA's to 3+4 on your 4ch amp, make sure your switch is set on mono/3+4 channel only. Adjust your input and you should be good. Make sure you set your deck SUB output on your amp also.
