Passenger footwell subwoofer?
Since search is down, I'm wondering if anyone has placed a subwoofer in the passenger footwell? I currently have a 10" subwoofer in a .6 ft^3 box. Do you think it is possible to make a new box that would fit in the passenger footwell and be about .6 ft^3 of airspace? It looks to me like it would be possible if I make the box in a gold bar shape laying on its side and have the subwoofer firing up at the passenger seat. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any mounting ideas? Would I need to drill holes in the floorboard to mount it there, and if so, is it ok to drill into the floorboard there?
I have a 10" AlumaPro in the passenger footwell.
I had it installed by a local shop. It is not simply a box placed on the floor.
They cut some of the sheet metal and added some support then sealed
it up tight. It sounds great by the way.
