Default Passenger foot rest

So I rode in the passenger seat of my car recently and realized it's pretty uncomfortable due to the lack of a foot rest. I've got a permanent navigator as of next month (getting married), so I'd like to make it more comfortable for her. Anybody ever try to mount a foot rest (or build your own) like these on the passenger side?

I do not mind being passenger, my gf has a an s2000 as well, she has never complained. I think they give you plenty of room but i'm 5'7 so maybe its just me i love being able to keep my legs spread out instead of cramped up. And on the passenger side there is a semi foot rest its kinda close but it works if needed.

I'm 5'8". My feet kinda dangle in space in the pass footwell when I have the seat slid back. Propping my feet on the beam isn't much better.

I figure I can also mount a small 2-ch amp on the backside. Multi-tasker
