Default Passport 8500 $284.99 at Best Buy

Just picked one of these babies up yesterday. It has been a long debate between this and the V1 but I am happy with my choice.

Probably not. I don't find it that much of a pain to hook up each time and I use it in my other car too.

I didn't realize that Best Buy carried Passports. My neighbor's son works there and I asked him to check on his employee price for one - It was $218 including tax! Needless to say, I gave him the money and he's bringing one home for me tonight. I was going back and forth as to buying a Passport 8500 or the V1 - this made the decision a lot easier.

I've been thinking about it, and watching e-Bay. There are some deals.

Try this for items up for bid....

How do you hardwire the Passport? I want a radar detector, had one in my Prelude for years, but hate the cord flapping around the cockpit. Hardwireing would be neater. Sugesstions?

Do a search on: "hard-wired radar" for some ideas on hard-wiring your detector.
