got it for a few weeks now, never messed with it much, how do you guys have your settings set? do you drive with auto/city/highway mode on?? someone tell me more about this so i can detecta ll the cops, yesterday night, my friend in s2k with exhaust accelerated real fast and cops went after him, my radar didnt even pick up the cop, was the cop not using a radar or just wanted to get someone for excessive acceleration?

 

there are times when i pass by cops and my 8500 doesn't go off. most cases the cops just chill and aren't actually gunning people passing by.

 

I use City or Highway..doesn't matter with the X-OFF set.. I get almost no false alarms.

 

and it's on auto.
