People with the Neo Ion unit..
I was wondering if allowing the ipod to charge while leaving the car parked will be enough to drain the car's battery.
I know the Neo Ion manual states that it'll automatically stop charging the ipod after an hour of non-use, which tempts me to just leave it plugged in all the time, right?
But another side of me worries that this might drain the car's battery and render me unable to start the car.
What do you guys think? I know the ipod battery is miniscule in capacity compared to the car's battery, but I don't want to take any chances here.
Thanks!

Well I have the Icelink that does the same thing. With an Optima yellow top, it can charge for 3 days and still have enough power to turn the car over. Once it went for 4 or 5 days and the battery was a tad weak.
Please don't give me a hard time for not driving the car for up to three days at a time

I just put the ion in MY 2006. It's supposed to only charge the Ipod for an hour after turning off the ignition then shut down. If it shuts down then there's no risk of draining your battery. So what's the problem?
