Thanks for the replies guys.

Still waiting for the KRX2's in the mail and I can't turn back on the PDX4.150 as I've already placed the order.. I hope it's not bad at all.

So now I'm still trying to figure out the Modifry DCI thing. Just wanna make sure I get the right thing. I need to get the Wired Dash Control Interface (Alpine) and the PnP Adapter harness w/o SCV? This is all I need to use the dash controls and not need to splice my cables is this correct?

Also I need to get the wiring. Noticed a lot of people referencing knuconceptz. Not famaliar with getting wiring as I've always just let the shop use whichever they had.. can someone throw me a link for the wiring that'll suit my application? I would appreciate it.. thanks in advance.

ever thought about CDT Audio? I just put a set of the CL-S60A i got from Woofersetc.com and I was amazed by their sound. They produce low and midbass as if i had 8" subs in the door, the highs are crisp but not harsh and the voice and mid clarity is phenomenal. I'm powering each door with an Xtant 1.1i and have a kenwood x592. I was very pleased with the head unit ($200 with HD tuner) and Speakers ($100!!). Definetly sounds like i have spent a lot more.

^^ Clarity is excellent compared to what?

Compared to Jensen? Or Sony Xplod?

Or are we comparing to JL VR or ZR series? Diamonds? Hertz, Focal, Morel?

Not that I don't believe that CDT makes an excellent speaker (I rank them in the upper sound quality). Just want something to compare it to...

Unfortunately, its out of stock on their website but this is the kit which would be suffice for your setup.

Stray away from the japanese headunits if you only want to use cd, lol. I've inquired about a few but renders radio useless. As for sub, I'd get a 12 being a better choice over the 10 due to hitting lower frequencies and slightly louder decibels. Look at the si mag subs, last thing you want is sloppy bass.

I am very pleased with my Alpine amps (PDX 100x4 and 600x1). I prefer them to my old JL Audio 300/4 and 500/1.

Prefer them why?

Because of space?

Less current draw, punchier sound, space, and weight.

My amp came in last week and my speakers just came in last night

Never actually did listen to the two paired up, but I did hear some positive reviews of them together which is why I went for it (the space is a plus). The other setup I read about mostly used was with the Audison amps. I'll be sure to write up about it once I get them installed.

I meant punchier as tighter response, more stocatto between notes.
