I bought a Pioneer DVH-P500MP. I don't want to install before I get a DCI.

I am trying to get a modifry's DCI. BUt there is 2 different DCI for pioneer.

Anyone know which model should I get?

Does the 500Mp have a port for a wired remote? If so, use the wired version. If not, use the IR.

You don't necessarily need an adaptor but it makes the install easier.

If you have the unit just look at the back of it If it has the 1/8 jack get the wired version.
Oh and yes you need the harness adapter.
