if you're going to put it in your trunk.. how bout where the spare tire goes??? .. the little covers behind your seat lead to the trunk.. so you can feed the controlers though there.. so you can sit in the cockpit and play the games ..

I think that it would work attached to the underneath part of the dash on the passenger side.

The newer slim PS2 may open up some options for placement. Behind a seat maybe if you only lose 1 inch?

I still don't get the whole game system in the car thing (unless its in the back for the kids), but whatever floats your boat.

Well...if you are mounting the TV in the dash, why dont you mount the PS2 in dash too? My friend had 5 kenwood TVs installed in his truck. He took the passenger airbag out and mounted a PS2 in there. The front opens up and has the power button, so it worked just fine.

will it fit inside the secret compartment? i know someone squeezed a cd changer in there.
maybe stuff it behind the seats ala lucid speaker style.
maybe mount it under the seat?

if you get the thin ps2, maybe you could try the following:
- mount it inside the passenger door panel and cut out a small slice out of the top so that the tray can open and close.
- mount it in the section where the top gathers when it's open.
- get a hardtop and mount it in the headliner
- install it behind the dash and cut a small opening for the tray. theres a lot of open space behind there.

but the question that still lurks in my mind..

WHY?????
