Default Please help...the search function does not seem like its working

I just installed my sub and I get a lot of rattling from a panel in the roof well. I've seen this discussed before with instructions on how to remove the panel. It is very annoying and the only thing that rattles. I see that there are several tabs on the panel but do not know how to remove it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

These rattles are really bugging me, I got some instructions off here but still can't figure out how to remove the offending pieces.

I believe you are referring to the back shelf piece that the soft top nests on...

Face the rear windown. Look down at the before the well and there's a plastic piece with three screws before it. Remove the screws and the piece and you should be set.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Mav! Do you have any tips on actually removing the screws so I can remove the panel? That's where my problem is. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Ummmm I haven't removed this panel myself, I'll take a look tonite. It could be just one of those plastic pieces that you can pop off but I'm just assuming.
