Default plug on back of alpine same as kenwood?

im a recent victim of seat theft and the thieves also stole the faceplate to my radio. im going to have to call alpine today and see if i can get that same faceplate (the HU i have is discontinued) or if i have to buy a whole new radio. in the meantime i have a kenwood radio that i used to use in my prelude sitting on the workbench. before i go though the trouble of removing my current HU i was wondering if the plug that goes into the back of the radio would fit. when i bought my current HU i also bought the modifry dci and the pnp harness for alpine. i tried looking on his website but couldnt find the pnp harnesses anywhere (have no clue how i found it the first time lol)

im borrowing a seat from a local guy, but i have no radio lol. its not a necessity, but it would be nice to have one that works for now until i get a new faceplate or HU

Probably not. A new splice adapter is like 5 bucks if you don't feel like hacking your existing one.

Doubtful or else I'm sure Modifry would advertise his PnP harness as for Alpine and Kenwood rather than lose potential business from Kenwood owners.
i couldnt find that info on his site last night...

thanks guys. i guess ill just live without it until i get a new one
