Hey everyone so last night I spent an hour just twisting and turning trying to get my hand behind the center console to tighten the damn loose 12v socket. I'm glad It's fixed! So the real question is when I took off the rear vent cover behind the driver's seat, I immediately noticed an empty harness plug. Seems like it was attached to the harness that runs to the defrost. Has anyone else seen this gray plug? I have an '04 Ap2. Sorry I would've taken a pic but I was so fed up with those damn hanger screws I just wanted to get it over with. Its the kind of plug you would see going into the back of one of the factory switches. Maybe its some optional accessory? But an odd place to put a plug!

I believe that would be the harness to the OEM hardtop rear window defroster

 

Seriously?...well wouldn't you use the plug thats already used for the existing glass rear window on the soft top?
