Default New headunit & amp, keeping speakers and changer?

How do I keep the CD changer working when I put my new Sony headunit in?

Also will I wire the roll hoop speakers in as rears? I'm hoping to keep these just fade them so they are at a low volume so that I don't blow them when cranking up my new competant speakers!

How did you keep your RCA's seperate to your power line? Either side of the car would be a bit of the pain? Or perhaps side of car and along the middle somehow? (Amps going in boot)

Thanks

AFAIK there is no way to keep the OEM cd changer with an aftermarket headunit. While
theoretically possible to create a protocol converter, it wouldn't be commercially viable.
As for wiring, it's easy to run wires down either of the sills, and possible, though a little
more work, to run them down the center console.
If you do a forum search on "running wires" you'll find many, many helpful posts.

Not aware of any CD changer adapters that will work with your particular setup, but they do exist for other older hondas and other HUs, like for a 1990's Odyssey and older alpines, for example. Google mostly came up with adapters for hooking up an ipod to the changer port, so your best bet is probably to call a local shop that does stereo installs and see if such a harness still exists, and for which HUs. If it exists, it is probably a simple plug an play adapter. What model Sony are you putting in?

the rear headrest speakers should just wire up to any amp, though I think to an amp is kind of a waste...I'd just go to the head unit. It's pretty much like any other car speaker.
