Default PNI (Sensoro) Silver Bullet radar detector

I know that V1 and Escort are the radar detectors of choice on these forums. However, Costco has the PNI (Sensoro) Silver Bullet for about $80-90, and it doesn't sound too bad. Anybody with relevant experience?

I'd be seriously concerned about the quality of any radar detector that can be purchased for $80...YMMV.

Amen to that. There is a reason the V1 and 8500 sell for 3x that price and more. And further, there is a reason people willingly pay it.

cheap radar detectors are nothing more than dash decorations. You can buy it, just don't depend on it.
