Default Valentine One : Can I install it backwards?

I'd like to put the V1 on top of the secret compartment, but I want the display to face towards the front of the car, so when I turn my head to the side, I can see it. What are the negative effects? Will it still work correctly? I'm going to switch a couple of wires on the remote display so that the forward arrow and backward arrow are reversed, effectively switching the display backwards to counteract the effect of having the V1 backwards.

It will work since it has front and rear sensors but your directional arrows will be useless (backward).

The remote display is only $40. It's well worth it.

I'm going to try this myself with a spare mirror... don't feel like spending $1000 on an install.
