Default Possible Amp Locations

I currently have my two amps located in place of spare tire. Excellant location but I am getting concerned with getting a flat tire and being stranded. So I am putting back my spare and now I am wondering where I can place the two amps. I have A honda CD changer on the left side installed so that place is used. I have a box that fits in that center cutout and it sticks up a few inches above that horizontal plane.

So where have you guys found some good places for amps and if you got any pics that would be awesome.

Thanks!

PAS2kNUT had some great pics in his thread and the amp on the left was my first choice for my first amp but I have another amp that is similar size amp as the one he installed in his spare tire area. Thats the problem I can't solve since I want to reclaim my spare tire. So pics of installations is what I am looking for.

Mounted against the back wall behind the passenger seat. You loose a little bit of seat travel but unless your significant other is over 6ft, you should be okay.

interesting...i went to look at my car and it seems that is made out of plastic. Do you think it will hold a heavy amp like that? Or did you mean on the floor? Is this your installation location or just an idea?

If you have the tool-well all filled up, then the spare is REALLY not going to be all that helpful to you. The well is designed to be where you carry your flat tire on the wheel when you do get a flat.

My advice would be to get some fix-a-flat and membership to an auto club. Keep your cell phone with you and a chager in the car.

If you are still planning to carry the spare, see if you can mount at least one of the amps inside the spare itself. You migth be able to sqeeze the other one in above the gas tank.

Sorry, I meant at the carpeted part, below the plastic trim pieces. There's only carpet then chassis metal. If you can stand it, you can use metal screws. Or possibly work out a way to attach it to the carpet (Velcro doesn't seem to work well.) Maybe even some strong magnets would work well too.
