Default Power Lock...anyone used this?

Has anyone used the Power Lock anti-hot wiring system? I'm thinking about getting it installed in my S. I live in San Diego and have already had one car stolen (DC2), so i want to do what i can to prevent my S from getting jacked.

Any inputs on the Power Lock (anti-hot wiring) as well as the Wheel Safe (alarms/notifies when wheels start rolling or are removed) systems. thanks!

If they want it badly enough, then they'll get it. If they don't get it and decide to leave, then expect extra damage from a pissed off thief.

if they want it.... next time you are going to your car they will just follow you and put a gun to you

Insurance and dont keep anything of value in the car, house keys and your auto registration

sometimes visula deturants help.... have a auto alarm with 3 blinking LED's
Doors and over stearing wheel

Theives dont like Noise, attention and a well lit area

hmm....well the wheel safe thing sounds the alarm when your wheels move "without authorization"...it even shoots a notification to your cell phone. Wouldn't this be good against towing?

I can't find how exactly it works.

That being said they don't hotwire anymore. Its all about the flatbed now.

If you're going to be near the car you might want to look at a pager alarm. I stay in hotels a lot so it works for me - park where you can see the car from the room and if the pager ever goes off you'll be able to phone the police and give them a description of the tow truck.
