Default Power wire down Driver or Pass side?

I've been reading through some install instructions and from what I've gathered... in a nutshell, I don't want to run my power wires next to my RCAs.
Some installs specifically say to run the power wire down the Driver's side, and some say Passenger side because the grommet is right behind the battery.

Besides convenience, is there a technical/theoretical reason for why the power wire should be run down the Driver's side?

Do/Can the fuse box (collection of power cables on the driver's side) cause interference if I decide to run my RCAs down that side?

make it simple, pull passenger seat & carpet out, run power from behind battery down passenger side.
then run rcas out back radio and down the passenger side drive shaft tunnel, run no wires down drivers side. done this dozens of times never had a problem

There is a perfect channel in the clip section that holds the carpet in place. This picture is of 8 gauge but I have since run 4 gauge and it fit just fine. Just remove the kick panel, rocker cover (whatever it's called) and the trim section behind the seat.

i believe the reason people choose to route it on the driver side is because thats where all the main wires go down. adding the power wire down that side wouldnt interefere with anything, leaving the passenger side free for everything else.

o and im running a 0 gauge wire down that side without any fitment issues.

wow man...why would you need to run that large of wire? An amp and sub package that would require that large of a guage wouldn't really fit in your trunk. Just curious cause it seems like overkill.

I know the power and speaker wires are separated here... but should their close proximity be of any concern in terms of noise?

Not really, and if you cross then take notice how he ran them at a 90. That's the key in this picture

my biggest issue in order to run down driver side you must run across the engine and why? you just added 4 or more feet of wire, your wire path is across how many electronic signals? down the passenger elimates all that.
